Coast to coast

Starting at Tanger Med port we follow the Mediterranean coast east towards Algeria visiting small fishing villages and the worlds shortest land border along the way.

The route then turns south across the Rekkam Plateau, Morocco's Empty Quarter, very much off the tourist trail, this area retains a feel of Morocco from years gone by. We take the time to visit some prehistoric rock carvings and remnants of the French Protectorate before turning west.

As we head towards the Atlantic coast the route passes through the desert areas and Anti Atlas Mountains. Eventually we arrive on the Atlantic Coast and drive along the famous White Beach before finishing our tour in Essaouira.
